My background has led me naturally into the beautiful world of a marriage celebrant, a role I perform with such passion. I have been teaching languages to migrants and school students for almost 30 years and I am familiar with different cultural traditions.  Teaching requires a great degree of responsibility, respect of diversity, solid attention to detail, creativity, reliability, presentation skills and a highly personable nature. During my teaching career I have been involved in creative writing, creating learning materials, compiling exams and through my understanding of the hopes and dreams of the young I enjoy a special sense of optimism and happiness that pervades everything I do.

My Pledge As a marriage ceremony facilitator I will not just hear what you have to say, I will listen. As a Personal Guide I will  support you in your choice of music, readings and symbolic material. As a qualified Civil Marriage Celebrant, I will assist you in preparing the ideal marriage ceremony as envisaged by you and your partner.

On a personal level, I’ve been creating emotive greetings cards and writing speeches for important family and social occasions for many years.  I have always been a people’s person: broad minded and with a good sense of humour. I speak English, Russian, some Latvian (as I was born in Latvia) and I know some Hebrew. My speech is clear, my voice is soothing, and my demeanour is pleasant and confident.
